Meet the Team


  • Clinical Director, Licensed Professional Counselor

    Dawn received her Bachelor’s Degree from IUPUI in Indianapolis and her Master’s from Butler University. She has many years of experience in the following settings: school counseling, behavioral therapy, extensive work with at-risk students in the school systems, coordination of care services in a residential setting for persons with disabilities, in-patient and out-patient for adults with substance abuse and intensive behavioral needs and an internship at Brooke’s Place grief counseling in Indianapolis. She began her private practice journey in March of 2020 and opened Calm Lake Counseling in June of 2023. She is a wife and mother to four children (ages 17-21). When Dawn is not working she loves spending time boating with friends and family and also watching football. Dawn’s speciality is adolescents but she also does work with children, adults and couples in therapy.


  • Wellness Coach

    Rosanne received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Western Michigan and her Master’s from IUSB. She has an extensive amount of experience with goal setting based on strengths and life objectives; behavioral needs; guidance and support; mental health; therapy and physical fitness. Rosanne also has experience with problem solving and navigating challenges presented with ASD. She has worked in our community’s school system for many years and her passion has always been to help individuals feel valued, respected and productive. Rosanne is also a wife and mother of two daughters (17 & 19). When she is not at work she loves being outside, relaxing by the pool and loving on her three dogs. Rosanne is joining the CLC team to serve our community needs in the areas of Wellness Coaching. What does this encompass? RA Cummins (1996) identifies our life and wellness domains as: health, productivity, health wellbeing, intimacy, safety, emotional wellbeing and sense of community and belonging.   • Limited Licensed Professional Counselor

    Angelica has recently completed her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Andrews University and previously completed a Bachelor’s in Psychology at Oakwood University. She also spent time studying abroad in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica. While getting her Bachelors and Master’s degree, she has gained experience interning at a juvenile detention center, multiple departments at psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health clinics. Angelica is open to providing services to a wide range of adults, children, adolescents and families, with a special interest in working with ADHD, juvenile delinquency, parent/child conflict resolution, and complex trauma. Currently she is completing training to become a certified ADHD-CCSP. Angelica enjoys incorporating creative modalities such as drawing, poetry, and other creative techniques into therapy sessions when applicable. When she is not working some activities she enjoys include spending time with family and friends, acting, and watching sitcoms.
